Lee’s Tackle Rod Holder Backing Plates

Lee’s Tackle Rod Holder Backing Plates relieve the pressure that the mounting nuts and bolts place on a small area when using a standard washer. A large amount of pressure placed on a small area can cause cracking, or worse, the mounting hardware can shear through material when under extreme load. Using a rod holder backing plate increases the surface mounting area, distributing the stress from the mounting hardware and significantly reducing the chance of damage to the mounting location, while virtually eliminating the chance of stress cracks as well.

Lee’s Tackle created these backing plates with elongated mounting holes, allowing the plate to slide back and forth to not only fit multiple applications, but also to help when mounting in a tight location, giving you that little bit of extra space you might need. The backing plate and mounting hardware are made from stainless steel. The Backing plate comes with the plate itself, and three mounting bolts, nuts, and washers.
